I expertly bind all my shakuhachi, a tradition rooted in the practices of the revered Komuso monks and earlier. My bindings are so effective, cracks requiring repair hardly ever occur. This is why I confidently offer lifetime free crack repairs. Beyond their utility, bindings are true badges of honor, signifying deep dedication and respect. Of course, you are free to remove them if you wish (removal voids free repairs and incurs a re-binding fee if returned). Additionally, fussy humidified storage becomes optional. In this way, you get virtually worry-free bamboo in your hands.

Returns/Exchanges

I am committed to ensuring you get the right instrument. That is why I offer you a full year in which you can return a shakuhachi for an equal exchange, or towards a more expensive instrument. Within 30 days, you can return for a refund. All returns and exchanges are minus my initial shipping expenses and any cleaning/restocking/repair/rebinding fees (if bindings were removed).
